Few features have the power to transform an outdoor space quite like a well-designed deck. It frames the view, creates flow between indoor and outdoor living, and adds serious value to a home. If you’re thinking about upgrading your outdoor areas, a deck is likely a good contender for enhancing your space! But before you lay a single plank, the biggest decision you face is: timber or composite?

The materials we use to build our homes and offices matter. As natural resources become scarcer, construction companies and material suppliers are turning to sustainable alternatives. The idea is to decrease environmental harm, yes — but these same materials also optimize how buildings perform.

Sustainability is not just a buzzword in building, it’s a key driver of innovation for manufacturers such as Eva-Last, looking to develop new composite products that improve the eco-friendliness and lifespan of building materials.
